    Hello @Bassel

    Welcome to PM Hangout.

Without knowing where you are today, it's difficult to tell what you should be doing for the next one month. It's like trying to find directions (to a destination) on Google Maps without specifying a starting point (or current location).

So please mention in detail where you are today in terms of your preparation for the PMP exam. We can take it from there.

    Good luck.

  • Hello Harwinder,

    Thanks for your reply,

Actually, I requested for the one month (intensive) plan, because I have already booked for the PMP exam on 1st July 12, and I feel that I did little preparation during the last two months (listed below), so I want to know what must be achieved in 1 month only, without considering the previous preparation I had, to know where I stand in my study to do the required efforts to pass the exam on the specified date.

    1. Read 1 time PMP Exam Prep Workshop Handout (140 pages)
    2. Read 1 time Applied PM Workshop Handout (450 pages)
    3. Practiced SYBEX PMP Study Guide - 12 Chapter Tests individually (3 times) - Overall score I reached is 67%
    4. Practiced BrainBOK Mastering PMBOK Guide 4 - 3 times - Total 50 questions - last score 35 (70%)
    5. Practiced BrainBOK PMP Practice Exam 1 - Total 175 questions - Score 76 (43.4%)
    6. Reading PMBOK 4th Ed. - Finished 110 pages.

I hope you have clear idea now where I am, and I appreciate any advice to know exactly what must be achieved to sit and pass the PMP exam after 3 weeks!

    Best regards,

    Hello Bassel,

I think your schedule looks a bit tight to me going by your scores. But you can still make the date if you can put in about 3 hours every day from this point.

    I would suggest the following:

    1. Read PMBOK Guide 4 at least 2 times. This is most important.
    2. Read Rita Mulcahy's PMP Exam Prep at least once and make notes.
    3. Attempt all the chapter-end questions from Rita's book. Review all the answers thoroughly.
    4. Attempt the "recommended" free sample exams listed on this page: 7000 Best Free PMP Certification Exam Sample Questions.
    5. Spend a few minutes with BrainBOK (ITTOs, Quiz and Flashcards) every day.
    6. Participate actively in blogs and forums and get your doubts cleared.

    Hope that helps.

    Good luck.
