When is PMBOK Guide 6th Edition expected to be released?
Based on the trend set for the past editions, PMI revises the PMBOK Guide every 4 years. PMBOK Guide, 5th Edition was released in Dec 2012, and both PMP and CAPM exams were updated in Aug 2013 to align with it. Going by the trend, PMBOK Guide, 6th Edition is expected to be released in Dec 2016, and PMP and CAPM exams are expected to be updated in mid-2017 to align with the 6th Edition.

The 6th Edition of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) will be launched in July, 2017. But, we can witness the changes in the PMP and CAPM exam from 2018 onwards.
