Just passed the CAPM. Thanks to those who posted, this forum was very helpful.
Not as many EVM questions as I thought.
Lots of ITTO questions. Some were at the document level! So you had to derive the process that produces the document.
The CAPM test on brainbok.com was very helpful. They were a little harder but very good way to prep. Especially if you take time to review them when you are done. My first score was a 56 then a 77.
Read the PMBOK a few times. Good framework, but I recommend supplementing another source that applies some tangible language scenarios to help it sink in. I enrolled in the PMI online prep course, which helped me with that.
Made some flashcards.
The ITTO modules and quizzes on BrainBok.com were a huge help as well.
Thanks for sharing your lessons learned - absolutely relevant and to the point info.
From your first attempt score on the BrainBOK CAPM Practice Test, I could guess that you would pass the (real) exam. I'm glad to hear that you actually did.
Good luck for future.
