What is the best way to remember/learn/calculate Chance Vs probability?

It was one of the PMP free question (Kim's 5th edition book, free for PMI members) and to play safe on ethics, i asked question in this way. question was something like this

there is is 80% chances of something to be done. what is the probability that it will be done in period planned for ?
Hope I am more clear this time

I think they are the same. Maybe chance is a % and prob is a decimal. So 80% change is 0.8 prob. This is my guess. I went through most of Kim's quest and do not recall this.
